BOOK REVIEW - Age Of Druids by India Drummond

If you're looking for a book series that has a new story in each book while at the same time keeping the same characters that you have grown to love then the Caledonia Series is the one for you.

Age Of Druids is the last book in the Caledonia Series, a series that I stumbled upon when I downloaded the first book for free, and I'm so glad I did!

This book was a perfect end for an amazingly written series, allowing you to see happy endings for your favorite and well loved characters while at the same time keeping you on the edge of your seat with anticipation wondering how it was going to end, especially as you get further into the book.

There was a point where I thought,"oh no there's too much going on and not enough time to resolve it, it's going to be so rushed" but I couldn't have been more wrong, with an amazing and unexpected plot twist wrapping up the book and the series in a perfect way.

I loved the way it was made up of each characters personal story while at the same time linking with the overall story of the book. It allowed you as a reader to get to know them more and make them more realistic.

The unspoken facts were just as enticing as the spoken ones. By not mentioning certain things, India allowed the reader to make up their own conclusions while at the same time hinting that it ended a certain way. A fantastic writing technique in my opinion!

The one thing I thought could have been improved was the ending to some one the characters stories. It ended very suddenly, although how you as a reader wanted it to, and wasn't mentioned again. It would have been nice to have given their story a proper ending.

In a way I am glad I have finished Age Of Druids as I can now move onto a new series but there is also sadness that it's over, as I have grown to love the characters. I would have liked it to have had an epilogue set in the future to quench the feeling of wanting to know more and end the series.
